Education Model

The Engineering Faculty of Mondragon Unibertsitatea (MU-GEP) is an educational centre with its own innovative educational model. The aim of this model is to prepare students for the labour market. The mission of MU-GEP is to achieve the transformation of society through work and the transfer of knowledge and we achieve that by introducing good professionals into the labour market. With this objective in mind, this document sets out the foundations of the educational model mentioned above.

What we aim to work on throughout engineering studies are the learning outcomes, in other words, the skills that can be demonstrated. We develop and assess learning outcomes based on knowledge that enables the development, repetition and production of products, activities, projects, etc. Through them, the aim is that students take steps in their career as individuals and professionals, obtaining the output profile that we have defined for each case.

It is clear that this path has to be taken by the person, by the student, the responsibility is theirs, and the role of MU-GEP, from the individual to the institutional level, is to offer help so that they can do so. Let's remember that our objective is that the student becomes a professional person.
