Digitalization is perceived in the business world as one of the strategic processes that companies must address to remain competitive and ensure their long-term sustainability. With this in mind, the Mondragon University Higher Polytechnic School and Cisco have organized three Technology Conferences aimed at showcasing the potential of digitalization to boost business in industrial environments and improve the industrial cybersecurity of Basque companies. The conferences will feature presentations by industry experts and live demonstrations in the technology lab, where new tools and innovative technological solutions will be presented.
The conferences will be held in March, June, and October and will address the main areas of digitalization, illustrating them with real-life cases and practical applications.
The first session of the conference was held today, Thursday, at the Mondragon University Higher Polytechnic School under the title "Industrial Cybersecurity Tools for Basque Companies."
During the event, industry experts shared their knowledge through presentations, success stories, and live demonstrations in the university's technology lab, demonstrating how the latest technological innovations can be applied in the industrial sector.
This first event featured the collaboration of the Department of Economic Promotion and Strategic Projects of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, Ikusi, and Sernivel3, who contributed their experience and knowledge to the event.
The events will continue throughout June and October 2025, and will continue to address topics related to digitalization and its practical applications for Basque companies.
