Conference on battery-based storage systems

On 16 January, a conference on battery-based storage systems will be held at the Orona Ideo campus in Mondragon Unibertsitatea, where experts from different fields will be presenting the advances and strategic challenges they face.

Battery-based storage systems are widely used today in electronic devices such as mobile phones, tablets, and laptops. Nevertheless, they also intend to solve important problems such as electric mobility, renewable energy storage, and instability problems in the electricity grid.

The conference will feature the presence of renowned experts in the field such as Dr Gregory Plett and Scott Trimboli, from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, as well as specialised speakers from the Ikerlan and CIC Energigune research centres and the schools of engineering of Mondragon Unibertsitatea.
