Mondragon University audiovisual communication student oihan loiti wins first prize at Euspot 2024
The awards ceremony took place last Thursday in Aretxabaleta. A total of 89 ads were entered in the competition, now in its 13th year.
The winners of the Euspot Basque ad competition were announced on June 7. The awards ceremony was held at the Arkupe Culture Center in Aretxabaleta. Oihan Loiti, an undergraduate in Audiovisual Communication at Mondragon University, won first prize in the competition, now in its 13th year, for her work Izan burua, altxa burua.
Audiovisual Communication undergraduates Unai Cantabrana, Aner Olaizola and Danel Ezpeleta received the award for the best ad presented by students of Mondragon University as well as the award for best musical synchronization.
This year, the participants examined the relationship between minors and the use of cell phones. A total of 89 works were entered in the contest, of which 60 competed in the under-18 section and the other 29 competed in the main competition.
The Euspot Basque ad competition is organized by the Aretxabaleta City Council, Arteman Communication, the Arizmendi School, and Mondragon University. The main sponsor this year was the Basque Government, and the competition enjoyed the collaboration of the Bai Euskarari Association and Music Library.
