ACCESS AND ADMISSION

NUMBER OF PLACES

The number of places established for this degree is 30.

ACCESS

Students in possession of national or foreign degrees who have studied higher education courses corresponding to the MECES 2 level or similar, in the field of Industrial Organisation Engineering, will have access to this Master’s Degree. Additionally, they must meet the following criteria and the qualification must entitle them to access postgraduate studies in the issuing country.

Depending on the previous training acquired, access may be direct or with additional courses.

DIRECT

Any graduates in the following or similar studies may access this master's degree without any additional courses:

  • Degree in Industrial Organisation

WITH ADDITIONAL COURSES

In the case of other degrees, they must prove they have completed the following competencies:

  • COMP1: Identifying, analysing and minimising the waste of production or service companies and defining the necessary actions to increase their levels of efficiency
  • COMP2: Define an optimal production plan according to product characteristics, processes and markets
  • COMP3: Identify the key parameters in the supply chain and design efficient processes for the supply, storage and distribution of products within a national and international framework

If the above competencies have not been acquired, the following subjects must be taken. The table below shows the relationship between competencies and subjects to be taken:

The additional courses are designed so that the student can complete them with a high degree of autonomy. For this reason, the start and end dates can be agreed by the student with the coordinator responsible for the degree programme with a certain degree of flexibility, as long as it is guaranteed that the time made available for the required training is sufficient for the student to work towards acquiring the required skills.

As a reference, the estimated work time required for a subject of 4 to 4.5 ECTS is 3 weeks, and in the case of a subject of 6 ECTS, it is 4 weeks, with a commitment of 8 h. Additional training courses will be offered between January and July.

These additional courses must be completed before the start of the academic year, and students interested in doing so must make the necessary arrangements for this training.

ADMISSION

The Body responsible for the admission of students is the Academic Committee of the MGEP of Mondragon Unibertsitatea.

Once the access requirements have been met, the admission of students will be based on the following two criteria.

Students shall be required to have achieved level B2 (of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment), or an equivalent qualification, for the English language, to be admitted to the Master’s degree course, in order to ensure that students have reached a sufficient level to ensure follow-up and learning, and achievement of expected results. In addition, foreign students from countries with official languages other than Spanish will be required to have a B2 level or equivalent in Spanish.
