INNOVATION - MANAGEMENT - ORGANIZATION
Innovation-Management-Organization (IMO) is a research group that is focused on the development of a more sustainable industrial/technological sector, positively impacting on more efficient organisations through activities that promote innovative businesses with a future. They seek innovative alternatives to distinguish themselves in the market and achieve the maximum possible efficiency and profitability of products and/or services.
"To get the maximum profit from companies, taking care of the Planet and respecting the fundamental rights of People and promoting the improvement of the quality of life of society".
To this end, the IMO research group will focus its research on the following 4 lines: Technological Innovation, Entrepreneurial University, Strategic People Management and Sustainability.
Technological Innovation
The aim of the Technological Innovation line is to ensure that SMEs, particularly industrial or technological SMEs, develop efficient innovation processes and transform their business models towards better value propositions. In addition, the aim is to achieve forward-looking businesses capable of adapting to any change or adversity, through the systematisation of activities.
Entrepreneurial University
This line focuses its activity on new processes and tools to support entrepreneurship in both individuals and organisations, particularly those of a technological/industrial nature. The creation of an entrepreneurial culture in technological universities, the exploitation of research results and training and support in entrepreneurial processes, particularly industrial/technological ones, aim to contribute to the creation of employment, wealth and sustainability in the ecosystem.
Strategic People Management
The Strategic People Management research line aims to develop an organisational model to improve the performance and well-being of all people in the company. Thanks to the principles of "Evidence Based Management", valuable information about people and organisations is obtained so that the social value and involvement in the contribution to social sustainability of each organisation can be characterised.
Sustainability
Within the framework of this line of research, R&D projects are designed and executed to develop and apply methodologies and tools to facilitate the implementation of circular and sustainable business models and value chains.
