The Faculty of Business Studies in Oñati is located in a town with a long university history. Specifically, it is next to the university "Universitas Sancti Spiritus", one of the first universities in Spain founded in 1540. An ecosystem made up of business administration and entrepreneurship students together with start-ups created by the students themselves.

The Alto Deba region is located in the centre of the three historical territories from the Basque Country, with more than 60,000 inhabitants.
The Alto Deba is the cradle of cooperativism, home to the Mondragón cooperative, the leading cooperative in the Basque Country and the seventh in Spain.
The campuses of the Alto Deba region are one hour away from the three Basque capitals: Bilbao, San Sebastian and Vitoria.
