Accommodation and transport
Accommodation and transport
If you are going to do the Master's in Gastronomic Sciences and want to stay in Donostia during that time, we can offer you several accommodation options. Firstly, you have the option to stay in the student residence, Numad Studios, just a few steps away from the Basque Culinary Centre, or in other halls of residence. However, if you are looking to share an apartment, we can also help you find the right one to suit your needs.
Public transport to the University
Mondragon Unibertsitatea does not have its own transport service, but there is a comprehensive public transport network to bring you to the campus.
Buses and trains to the University
Numad Studios
Located very close to the Basque Culinary Centre, the Numad Studios residence has 73 studios with double bed, television, modern furniture, kitchenette and private bathroom. You will also have at your disposal a large kitchen area dedicated to culinary practices, study or meeting rooms, as well as a gym and lounge area where residents can share their experiences or simply chat quietly.
It also has excellent transport connections to the city centre.
Other accommodation options
Religious nature Residences
In addition to staying at the Numad Studio student residence, you can also choose to stay at other residences in Donostia. Most of the student residences in San Sebastián are of a religious nature. So they are gender-specific, tend to be small in size, and have entry hours. You can stay in either shared double rooms or single rooms, with either a private or shared bathroom. Some of these residences do not include any of the weekend meals and a personal interview with the families will take place before you can enrol.
Secular Residences
You can also stay in one of the secular residences. They make no distinction by gender and, as a rule, are larger than the religious ones. They do not normally have entry hours.
Accommodation in apartments
Donostia has a wide variety of shared student flats, so we recommend you visit one before you commit yourself, as there are many differences between them. Depending on the location of the flat, the size of the rooms and some other matters, the monthly rent is usually between €250-€350 per month.
