Goals and Skills
The Master of Entrepreneurship and Open Innovation programme prepares participants for the world of business by providing the skills, knowledge and connections necessary to lead entrepreneurial projects and teams that offer solutions to problems in the entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystems, as well as successfully creating and managing new companies or developing innovative products.
With a focus on the entrepreneur in action, the programme seeks to:
- Apply entrepreneurial and open innovation tools and techniques to create new businesses
- Lead entrepreneurial projects and teams that offer solutions to problems in the entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystems
- Identify business opportunities, set up multi-disciplinary teams and design innovative business models
- Provide essential tools and skills for creating new businesses or new intra-entrepreneurial actualities
- Identify key business problems, translate them into relevant questions and offer concrete actions and solutions
- Find business new opportunities or ones that complement current ones and design the most suitable solutions for those opportunities and implement them in a specific market

The specific skills of the master’s programme are the following:
CE1. Innovation in a world in transition.
Create the innovation strategy using open community innovation taking into consideration the world in transition we’re living in where awareness of uncertainty means risk can be mitigated.
CE2. Entrepreneurial leadership Exercise individual and team leadership on projects.
Combine/integrate self-leadership and team leadership in a cooperative way to take on the local and global challenges that surround current and future society.
CE3. Results oriented Business management Planning, developing and implementing business strategies.
Analyse the legal and financial-economic information of the company and draw conclusions that make it possible to lay out strategies oriented towards growth and positive forecasts for the company in the future.
CE4. A connected digital world.
The digital transformation of the organisation by applying digital capabilities to processes, products and assets to improve efficiency, value for clients, manage risks and find new opportunities for generating income or improving competitiveness.
CE5. New business vision.
Launch new businesses or develop innovative projects in existing companies that are adapted to social needs and current and future market needs.
CE6. Creating strategies and business models.
Develop holistic strategies in business models. Research, conception, product/service development, sales, marketing and communication processes
