"Create entrepreneurial projects from scratch"
We live in a changing and unstable world that needs professionals who are prepared to manage uncertainty and respond to it with innovative, creative and different solutions. Society needs people with entrepreneurial initiative who are enthusiastic about contributing to economic and social change.
Doing the Master of Entrepreneurship and Open Innovation programme will prepare you to develop projects in the industry you’re passionate about, either in an existing company or creating your own. Decide to develop a new business idea, inside or outside of an existing company and you’ll understand the keys of teamwork under the umbrella of open innovation.
Founder or co-founder of entrepreneurial projects
You can start up your new company alone or with other entrepreneurs. You’ll create a new product or service after having identified a real need, created a business model, designed a market access strategy and obtained financing, taking into account the triple impact of economic, social and environmental sustainability.
New business development
Inside an existing company, you’ll be the person in charge of identifying new market opportunities in order to strengthen and optimise the commercialisation of new products or services, creating new lines of business.
Innovation Director / Manager
You’ll manage the innovation area of a company and develop and implement innovative new resources, tools and procedures in order to create a competitive advantage or diversify a company’s lines of business. In that role you’ll have to be able to tell the difference between real disruptive innovation in the organisation from improvement processes or the natural evolution of the company.
Leading and managing teams or organisations
You’ll lead and manage teams and create a common vision and purpose and align people so they’re able to set out a strategy that makes it possible to reach the goals. You’ll provide fast and agile response systems so you can understand the disruptive changes taking place in the market and act upon them.
Dynamising and facilitating open innovation ecosystems
Working in an innovation ecosystem (incubators or accelerators) You’ll know the state of the art of innovation in volatile and complex markets. You’ll be able to attract and manage resources, create and expand contact networks and find new opportunities, etc.
Consulting and Mentoring for Entrepreneurial Projects
You’ll help other entrepreneurs develop business plans, obtain financing and identify market opportunities. You’ll provide support at all stages of business development, like financial-economic, strategic planning, marketing and project management.
Be an entrepreneur or intra-entrepreneur in the sector you like
People’s needs change and new products and services need to know how to respond to them in order to create scalable business models. On the other hand, to generate a positive change in our environment those business models need to be capable of making a positive impact, taking into account the triple impact.
Internships and End Of Degree Project
To finalise your studies in the Master of Entrepreneurship and Open Innovation programme you’ll have to create and present an end of degree project.
