OBJECTIVES AND COMPETENCIES
The main objective of the Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence is to train students to be able to design, create, deploy and maintain innovative systems based on Artificial Intelligence that respond to a wide spectrum of problems and situations, being addressed from a data-driven approach.
BASES AND TECHNIQUES FOR ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
You will acquire the necessary knowledge in Mathematics, Algebra, Statistics, Data Mining and Python programming for its application in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
MACHINE LEARNING
You will learn and apply traditional Machine Learning paradigms such as Supervised and Unsupervised approaches, Deep Learning, as well as new paradigms such as Deep Reinforcement Learning, Continuous Learning, and Transfer Learning in different scenarios. You will also learn how to analyse the interpretability of the models leading to comprehending the model’s predictions.
DATA ENGINEERING
You will understand and work on both the data life cycle and the life cycle of an Artificial Intelligence project, learning to deploy and maintain models, as well as to perform optimal data processing and management in distributed environments and Big Data paradigms.
OPTIMISATION THROUGH AI TECHNIQUES
You will learn different optimisation approaches and methods based on Artificial Intelligence, both analytical and non-analytical. In turn, you will work on the principles of linear and evolutionary programming, as well as multi-objective optimisation algorithms.
PRACTICAL CHALLENGES
You will be capable of applying all the theoretical knowledge acquired in class on real problems by participating with different leading companies in their sector.
