Erasmus Charter
What is the ECHE?
The Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) constitutes a general quality framework for European and international collaboration activities that any higher education centre may carry out within the framework of the Erasmus + Programme. Higher education centres located in one of the countries listed below must have an Erasmus Charter for Higher Education in order to request and be able to participate in personal mobility linked to learning and / or in collaboration on innovation and good practices within the framework of the Programme. Higher education centres located in other countries do not need the Erasmus Charter and the quality framework is established through inter-institutional agreements between higher education centres. The Charter is granted for the entire duration of the Erasmus + Programme.
