Study programme
Upon completion of this Degree, you will have the knowledge you require in order to design, develop, implement and maintain systems, machines and industrial installations that combine electronic, mechanical and automation functions.
To attain this knowledge, you will take subjects relating to mechanics, electronics and automation throughout the 4 years of the degree. In addition, if you have a previous advanced vocational qualification, you will be able to put into practice all of the skills and knowledge you gained and finish your degree in 3 years.

Science
Mathematics
You will learn about the fundamentals of mathematics in order to solve the mathematical problems that may arise in the field of engineering.
Physics
You will know how to apply the general laws of mechanics, thermodynamics and electromagnetism for solving engineering problems.
Computer Science
You will learn how to program operating systems, databases and IT software with applications in engineering.
Mechanics
Mechanical Design
You will be able to design mechanical elements using computer aided design tools.
Manufacturing Technologies
You will acquire the basic knowledge of production systems and advanced manufacturing systems, performing practical work in the laboratory.
Resistance of materials
You will learn everything related to resistance, elasticity and material characteristics.
Thermal and fluid engineering
You will apply the principles of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics to problem solving.
Electricity and electronics
Electrical systems
You will know the principles of circuit theory in order to design and develop electrical machines.
Automation
You will acquire the knowledge you need to apply automation to industrial processes.
Assembly laboratory
You will learn how to assemble and commission electrical and electronic systems.
Electronic engineering
You will have the aptitude you need to develop projects, systems and electronic machines.
Skills
Effective communication
You will learn how to listen, question and express your ideas clearly, adapting your message to whoever receives it.
Innovation
You will be capable of developing and designing innovative and efficient mechatronic products, equipment and systems.

You will be able to manage work groups and people in activities such as assembly, commissioning, support and maintenance of installations and production systems.

Throughout your 4-year Mechatronics Engineering Degree, you will be applying the knowledge you gained from real projects, and this will enable you to build up experience in the professional environment and assimilate the knowledge you gained in the classroom in a practical and efficient way.
