Errespetuz, the Basque association for the defense and integration of transsexual people, came to Biteri to voice its work.

On this occasion, the Tertulia Team of Biteri has focused on the discrimination suffered by LGBT community. For this purpose, the team has invited Errespetuz, the Biscayan association in favour of transsexual people rights that offers the Berdindu service and belongs to the Eraberean Network of the Basque Government.
The secretary and the president of the association accompanied us. They, based on their professional and personal experience, tried to make social and institutional obstacles suffered by transsexual people visible, as well as show the repercussions of these obstacles on their personal development.
