The students of the first year of the Degree in Mechatronics Engineering at the Arrasate campus received a visit from two representatives of the Loramendi company. The cooperative based in Vitoria (Álava) offers the design and supply of global solutions for foundries and has a strong international orientation.

María Pérez, Human Resources Technician, and Ramón Baez, Technical Manager of the Programming and Commissioning Area, went to the campus of the Polytechnic School of Mondragon Unibertsitatea and discussed different topics:

  • The activities and businesses of the company and the main technologies they develop.
  • The profile of the people they hire from human resources.

Loramendi is one of the companies where students will be able to do dual training starting next year, so that learning about their activity and the profiles they are looking for is especially interesting for this group of students.

Degree in Mechatronics Engineering

A multidisciplinary training that integrates knowledge of mechanical engineering, computer science, automation and electronics. Special features of the degree:

Those who come from a higher degree cycle can complete the engineering degree in 3 years while those who come from high school will have to take 4 years.
  • A degree where the vast majority of students opt for the dual itinerary from the 3rd year.
  • It is taught on several campuses: Arrasate-Mondragon and Bilbao AS Fabrik currently. From 25/26 also in Galarreta, Hernani.
