The Project Based Learning (PBL) methodology used in the Master's Degree in Biomedical Technologies allows students to put into practice and internalise all the theory previously taught. Therefore, throughout the first year, students combine theoretical classes with the development of a practical project, a project that is undertaken in a group. Moreover, given that the health-technology field offers a wide variety of specialisations, each student has the option of choosing the subject that is most closely aligned with their professional interests.
Below, two students from the Master's programme talk about the subject matters they have decided to focus on in this year-long project.
- Ainhoa Arruabarrena: Artificial intelligence solution for the detection of brain tumours.
- Olatz Garitaonandia: Solution for cell regeneration by electrospinning techniques.
