Teachers involved in business development

The teachers of the computer engineering course combine their teaching activity with research activities and technology transfer to companies through joint university-company projects and company training activities.

The activity of technology transfer to business is a very important activity at Mondragon University, which has been acknowledged as the 3rd best university in Spain in this mode.

At present, computer engineering professors develop projects for companies for an amount of approximately €1.5 million. We also highlight their extensive participation in European projects, being a leader of one European project with a budget of €30 million and 48 participants, as well as participating in a dozen European projects of an industrial scope, having already achieved an important international recognition.

This activity allows the professors of the computer science course to be highly aware of the business reality of our surroundings, help to improve their competitiveness, and transfer to the computer curriculum the knowledge that will be necessary for the professional development of computer engineers in the company.
