Mondragon Unibertsitatea and the Gipuzkoa Chamber of Commerce are celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Executive MBA in an event held in Donostia-San Sebastian. This degree, which has trained nearly 300 professionals in its 15 years of existence, has been fundamental for the development of competencies and skills that respond to the new challenges of the business environment.

The event was attended by former students who shared their experiences and reflected on their professional development since completing the master's degree. The day also included a lecture by Pablo Jiménez, an expert in digitalization and technological marketing, who explained the importance of adapting to a constantly changing world. With his experience in various sectors, Jiménez shared his vision of how Artificial Intelligence and digital tools are transforming the business landscape, and the opportunity that these trends represent for professionals.

A master's degree in constant evolution

Since its inception, the Executive MBA has aimed to improve the skills of managers and professionals in Gipuzkoa, adapting each year to the needs of the local economic fabric. Over the years, the program has been updated to respond to the characteristics of an economic context defined by complexity, uncertainty and globalization. Among its objectives are: to provide a global and strategic vision of the company and management in all its tasks; to improve decision-making and team leadership skills; to foster entrepreneurial initiative and promote innovation and change as personal and professional attitudes; to provide tools for the commercial, financial and strategic management of the company; and personal development and the construction of a professional circle.

Ninety percent of the participants who have taken the Executive MBA over the last 15 years come from technical backgrounds, with an average age of between 30 and 50 years and a minimum professional experience of 5 years. Most of them are professionals from SMEs, cooperatives and family businesses, as well as large companies, mainly from Gipuzkoa.
