Mondragon Unibertsitatea and Osakidetza sign an agreement to promote practical training for university students in the Basque health service network
The agreement covers the students of all the faculties of Mondragon Unibertsitatea from the moment it is signed
The Basque Government's Minister of Health and President of the Osakidetza Board of Directors, Gotzone Sagardui; the President of Mondragon Unibersitatea, Mikel Álavez and the Rector of the University, Vicente Atxa have signed a four-year framework agreement at the Garaia Innovation Park. The aim of the agreement is to enable Mondragon Unibertsitatea students, both undergraduate and postgraduate, to carry out training placements (Workplace Training, FCT) in the Basque Health Service network and in the organisations that form part of it.
The agreement affects students from the four faculties of Mondragon Unibertsitatea (Higher Polytechnic School, Faculty of Business Studies, Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences and Faculty of Gastronomic Sciences) from the moment it is signed, as it covers internships which, although not related to the field of health, are in the categories covered by the structural staff of Osakidetza.
This agreement seeks to open doors to a leading sector such as the health sector in order to ensure that the Basque Country has an increasingly well-prepared and specialised youth.
