LUP: turning text into voice to eliminate barriers

The leinner Apurva San Juan founded, in the context of the LEINN Degree at Mondragon Unibertsitatea, the LUP project together with Eneko Calvo, current technical director. Specifically, he was part of the laboratory that the university has in the Gipuzkoa town of Oñati. The result of his work is the commercialization of a successful technological solution for assisted reading oriented to carry autonomy and facilitate the daily life of people with difficulties.

The intelligent pocket LUPA, which is the name of the final product, is for all kinds of people who have difficulty reading, either due to low vision, dyslexia, visual fatigue, disability, etc.. It is a device designed and developed for all audiences, including anyone who consumes large amounts of text.
