On June 13, the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences of Mondragon University will hold the third LanHezi conference under the title “The Dual model: Collaboration between companies and Vocational Training.” The conference will begin at 4:30 p.m. and will last an hour and a half. The event will be attended by representatives of Vocational Training teaching staff and students, instructors from various companies, and representatives of the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences of Mondragon University.

The LanHezi III Project

The LanHezi III Project: the creation of knowledge to influence companies and Vocational Training schools in the socio-economic ecosystem of Gipuzkoa and impact the quality of future employment came about as a continuation of the LanHezi I and II projects. The main objective of the project is to influence the quality of future employment by strengthening the link between companies and Vocational Training schools and developing transformative learning processes based on their needs and opportunities. Joining the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences of Mondragon University in participating in the LanHezi III project are the Mondragon Higher Polytechnic School, Saiolan, the Data Intelligence for Energy and Industrial Processes Group of the Vicomtech Technology Center, the Fagor Group, the Miguel Altuna Vocational Training School, Matz-Erreka S.Coop and ULMA C and E, S.Coop.

The LanHezi III project has four main target audiences:

  1. Companies. The project aims to improve the training of the workers of today and tomorrow in companies.
  2. Students. The training of teachers and the connection of the Vocational Training company will be reflected in the training of students.
  3. Vocational Training teachers. The project will help Vocational Training teachers acquire the necessary skills to implement transformation in Vocational Training.
  4. Gipuzkoa. The project will stimulate the Gipuzkoan economy, since knowledge will be generated and transferred jointly within the Gipuzkoan socio-economic system.
