Renewable energies are those that are obtained from natural sources, and are therefore considered inexhaustible and have low greenhouse gas emissions. Technological advances have made it possible to reduce installation, production and maintenance costs, making them more accessible and competitive.

In the complex transition to a low-emission energy model, different types of renewable energies play a key role. However, the integration of renewable energies raises issues such as security of supply, grid integration, dependence on critical minerals and social acceptance.
