Expert certification in Cooperativism: 15 years training cooperativists

The course, which began on September 30, aims to offer cooperative members knowledge and tools to develop their cooperative socio-business project. This year, 23 people from 14 cooperatives will participate in the course.

Friday, September 30, saw the opening class of the 15^th year of the Expert Certification in Cooperativism. A total of 23 people from 14 cooperatives will participate in the course. The in-person sessions take place on Fridays on the Eskoriatza campus.

This 15^th year of the course will train 23 members of the following cooperatives: RPK, Ulma Construction, Ulma Handing, Eika, Maier, Fagor Ederlan, Eroski, Fagor Arrasate, Fagor Industrial, Fagor Automotion, Fagor Electrónica, Mondragon Assembly, Grupo Fagor and Ausolan.

Revitalizing cooperativism

The aim of this course is to promote processes that will foster the socio-business project of cooperativism. To accomplish this, during the course, the students will acquire a solid theoretical-practical knowledge that will allow them to understand and analyze the cooperative reality.

 

In this expert certification program, the participants will acquire tools for the development of the socio-business project of their organizations. In addition, by sharing experiences, they will have the opportunity to learn about and reflect on the experiences of other cooperatives. Exemplary course

This course, which is a lodestar in the training of cooperativists and members of management bodies, is organized by the LANKI Institute of Co-Operative Research of Mondragon University and by the Otalora training center of the Mondragon Group. Over the years, around 300 representatives from 40 different cooperatives have participated in the expert certification program in Cooperativism.
