This weekend the Spanish University Judo Championships took place
Two representatives from Mondragon Unibertsitatea attended.
222 athletes from all over Spain gathered last weekend in Jaca to participate in the Spanish University Judo Championship organized by the University of Zaragoza. There were 222 athletes from 54 universities, 132 boys and 90 girls, who competed in 14 categories: in men , from -66kg to +100kg and in women, from -48kg to +78kg.
The competition was held on Saturday, in a single day. For this purpose, four tatamien were set up at the Olimpia sports center, so that the bouts could take place simoultaneously throughout the morning. Olaia and Amaia were the fighters who represented Mondragon Unibertsitatea in the judo championship.
