The sustainability commission will help in the solidarity rally “Uniraid”
They will collaborate with two students who are going to participate, one from the Mondragon University and the other from the University of Deusto
In February, the 11th edition of the Uniraid solidarity rally will be held in Morocco. This rally is aimed at university students, and it is much more than a race. During this nine-day adventure they will pass through various towns around the Sahara desert, and the objective is to help in the development of these towns by bringing different resources to them.
MGEP student Josu Astorkia and UD student Gorka Albizu will fix an 42-year-old car to participate in this rally, helping the towns by bringing them school supplies, toys and clothes. The week of December 13 to 17, the Biteri sustainability commission will carry out a campaign to collect material to help this couple, and on the Mondragon campus there will be an opportunity to contribute the aforementioned material.
