Igor González de Galdeano presented the rules of the "Machining Meets Cycling by CERATIZIT" competition to vocational training students.
Igor González de Galdeano, former professional cyclist, currently CEO of the company KIROLIFE, has presented to the students of the Vocational Training Degree in Mechanical Manufacturign Design of Mondragon Goi Eskola Politeknikoa, the rules of the contest "Machining meets Cycling by CERATIZIT", linked to the Tour de France in collaboration with the network of HETEL Vocational Training Centers.
160 students from 8 centers of the HETEL network, of which Mondragon Goi Eskola Politeknikoa is a member, are participating in this competition.
The contest was created with the intention of adding value to students and boosting motivation for creativity, innovation and production in the mechanical manufacturing sector. It is a contest linked to the world of cycling, taking advantage of the arrival of the Tour de France to Euskadi.
The 14 students of the Higher Level Training Cycle in Mechanical Manufacturing Design of Mondragon Goi Eskola Politeknikoa must develop and manufacture an alternative solution to the current bottle holder of a racing bicycle. The team that presents the best project will win an approved training course at the Ceratizit Technical Center in Madrid, and the center will also receive a voucher for tools.
