The event was held at the Kursaal in Donostia and was attended by a large number of the graduates' families.
The Engineering School of Mondragon Unibertsitatea awarded diplomas to its 2022 graduates in bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees. In total, 602 people, of which 377 are bachelor's degree graduates, 195 master's degree graduates and a further 30 doctorate graduates.
The event was attended by the Rector of Mondragon Unibertsitatea, Vicente Atxa; the General Coordinator of the Higher Polytechnic School, Carlos García; the Academic Coordinator of the School, Nekane Errasti, and the Director of Innovation and Technological Development of AMPO, Leire Colomo, who gave a talk. The mayors of Hernani, Arrasate and Ordizia, municipalities where Mondragon Goi Eskola Politeknikoa has a campus, were also present.
5º state university employability and new qualifications
This week the U-Rank ranking has been published, carried out by BBVA and Ivie with all the universities of the Spanish University System, where Mondragon Unibertsitatea is positioned in 5th place in employment in the field of engineering. Mondragon Unibertsitatea has a 95% employment rate in bachelor's degrees and a 95% employment rate in university master's degrees.
This academic year, the University has launched three new degrees to respond to the needs of industry: a Degree in Physical Engineering Applied to Industry, the university master's degrees in Intelligent Energy Systems (taught on the Galarreta campus), and in Logistics and Production Operations Management (taught in Mondragón), new engineering degrees that are in great demand by industry and are being very well received by young people.
As a novelty, from September 2023, the Master in Robotics and Control Systems will also be taught at the Bilbao AS Fabrik campus..
