The Gastronomy Group continues tasting Basque flavors
The members of the Gastronomy Group of Biteri face a new challenge: to make the Basque cake.
Originally the Basque cake was a homemade cake made of corn, animal fat and honey. This traditional recipe has evolved over time, becoming a symbol of Basque pastry. Currently, there are many variations in its preparation. The Biterritarras have chosen a typical recipe of the region: dough based on flour, butter, egg and sugar stuffed with custard.
After a long culinary session and thanks to the collaboration of the workers of the dining service, the members of the group have shared the product with the rest of the collegiate students.
