Irene Varela, former student of the Degree in Biomedical Engineering and current student of the first year of the Master’s Degree in Biomedical Technologies, has presented the TFG (End-of-Course project) carried out at Middlesex University, in London, whose title is “Understanding human response to tactile stimuli: A machine learning approach”.

In turn, the second project, “Aging effects on resting state networks after an emotional memory task", was presented by Erik Isusquiza, a second-year student of the Master's degree course. In it, he showed the results of the first-year PBL that he carried out alongside Garazi Artola and Ane Errarte.

CASEIB2018 is the leading forum in Spain for the scientific-technical exchange of knowledge, experiences and promotion of R&D in Biomedical Engineering. The congress was held on from 21-23 November at the Paraninfo Luis Arroyo of the University of Castilla-La Mancha, in Ciudad Real.
