Throughout 14 years, more than 239 people have passed through the classrooms of this MBA
May 4 the closing ceremony of the thirteenth edition of the Executive MBA, a master's degree that was launched in 2009 by both entities. The event began at 18:30 with the opening of Mauricio Arregui, president of the Chamber of Gipuzkoa. Then, Eduardo Jauregui, CEO and CO-FOUNDER of the company Irisbond (awarded with the Berrikuntza Enpresa 2023 prize by the Gipuzkoa Chamber), gave a lecture and later, at 19:30, diplomas were awarded to the 14 students who have successfully completed the course. Finally, the rector of Mondragon Unibertsitatea, Vicente Atxa, closed the event.

The new participants in the program belong to companies in both the industrial and service sectors, where they hold positions of responsibility. All of them have extensive professional experience, and diverse previous academic training. Historically in engineering and computer science, although with the passage of time they have been extended to other degrees.
The students have had classroom sessions to study the functional areas of the company (Finance, Strategy, Marketing, Operations, Innovation-Entrepreneurship, People) and have also worked on their management and leadership skills in the context of residential stays. During this time they have been accompanied by a multidisciplinary teaching team, combining the approaches and experiences of the university, consulting and business.
Objectives
The Executive MBA is a program aimed at personal transformation, and seeks to foster decision-making skills and abilities, teamwork, project and personal leadership, promoting innovation and change as personal and professional attitudes. It also provides a comprehensive and systemic approach to companies and business management in all relevant areas. Another objective of the Executive MBA is to update and reinforce the various tools needed to manage the different challenges and projects faced by companies, taking into account the diversity of international and cultural contexts.
Positive assessment
The Gipuzkoa Chamber of Commerce and Mondragon Unibertsitatea have given a very satisfactory assessment of the development of the program, with more than 239 professionals trained in the classrooms of this MBA over the last 14 years. Thus, both entities are committed to continue working together to strengthen the business fabric of the Gipuzkoa region through the training of its working professionals.
