Students of the Degree in Mechatronics visit an itinerant lorry

Students of 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of the Degree in Mechatronics were able to visit the itinerant lorry of the Rexroth firm of the Bosch Group, which addressed hydraulic drives and the advantages and advances offered by them. The lorry stayed on 21 October in the car park of building 10 of the Higher Polytechnic School, and its managers gave explanations and workshops to the students who attended the visits.

What was seen in the exhibition of the lorry was directly related to subjects taken in the Degree in Mechatronics such as Introduction to Automation (2nd year), Basic Industrial Automation (3rd year), and Advanced Industrial Automation (4th year).

Lorry with integrated exposure

The lorry contained in its interior the exhibition entitled “Connected Hydraulics, Beyond Limits”, which addressed hydraulic drives and the advantages and advances offered by them. The exhibition showed that hydraulic systems supported by software and electronics increase the possibilities of Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things. The different sections of the exhibition include the different software, elements, and applications.
