The meeting organized by Mondragon Unibertsitatea will feature presentations from collaborating organizations such as Cea, Cidetec energy storage, Ikerlan, Tecnalia, the University of Zaragoza and the University of Oviedo.

The 2nd Mondragon Unibertsitatea Scientific Meeting on Battery-Based Energy Storage Systems will take place on 16 February 2022. The conference will be held at the Orona Ideo campus (Hernani, Galarreta) where experts from different fields and organizations will present the advances and strategic challenges they face.

Energy storage is a hot topic for the energy transition and all the agents involved in the scientific conference are immersed in innovation projects with the aim of responding to the current and future needs of industry and society.

The scientific meeting will address an important spectrum of knowledge: from modeling, instrumentation and SoX estimators for BMS systems, to the development of advanced battery packs and their application to provide flexibility to the main grid.
